PLEASE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY TO LEARN ABOUT THE INFORMATION THAT YOKATV COLLECTS FROM YOU AND HOW WE USE THAT INFORMATION.

By using the YOKATV Online+ application and related services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the YOKATV Online+ application and related App services. It does not replace any separate privacy notice that may apply to the YOKATV website, online store, or other services.

1. Information Collection

We collect the following information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve our services:

Device Identifiers

For the iOS version of the application, we may process an Apple-provided or application-generated device identifier, such as an identifier used for device recognition, account binding, authorization, or service security. The iOS application does not intentionally collect Android-specific identifiers such as Android ID or Widevine DRM device ID.

Account Information

The server address, username, and password you provide when configuring or using IPTV services may be processed by the application. These credentials are used to connect the application to IPTV services selected and configured by you. YOKATV does not provide, sell, or distribute the IPTV service account or the media content accessed through that account.

Sign-In Information

When you choose to sign in using a supported third-party identity provider, we may process the information required to authenticate your account and maintain your application account. For Google Sign-In, this may include your email address, display name, profile information, and authentication credentials or tokens required for backend identity verification, subject to the configuration of the iOS application.

We do not collect your third-party account password.

Device Information

We may collect device model, operating system version, language preference, and related technical information necessary to provide and support the application.

Approximate Location

We may process your approximate country or region based on your IP address through an IP geolocation service. The application may use ipinfo.io over HTTPS to obtain country or region information. The resulting country/region information may be cached locally for up to 3 days for statistical or service-related purposes.

Crash and Performance Data

We may collect application crash logs, diagnostics, and performance information through Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Performance to improve application stability and performance.

App Usage Data

We may process information about how you interact with the application, such as application events, feature usage, and basic usage statistics, for product improvement and service analytics.

We do not intentionally collect an Apple IDFA for advertising or cross-app tracking purposes through the iOS application.

2. Information Usage

We may use the information described above for the following purposes:

  • Device identifiers: account authentication, device recognition, device binding, authorization verification, fraud prevention, and service security.
  • Account information: authentication and connection to IPTV servers configured by you.
  • Sign-in information: account authentication and account management.
  • Device information: application compatibility, diagnostics, security, and service improvement.
  • Approximate location: statistical analysis and service optimization.
  • Crash and performance data: application stability, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
  • App usage data: statistical analysis, feature improvement, and product optimization.

We do not use the information collected through the iOS application to provide personalized advertising based on an Apple IDFA.

3. Data Transmission and Security

Data transmitted between the application and our servers is protected using appropriate technical and organizational safeguards. Communications with our servers use HTTPS/TLS where supported by the service architecture. Certain application API communications may additionally use application-layer encryption. The connection protocol for IPTV servers you configure is determined by the IPTV service and configuration selected by you.

Firebase data transmission is encrypted in transit and is subject to Google’s applicable data protection terms. IP geolocation requests to ipinfo.io are made through HTTPS. We do not intentionally store the raw IP address received for this lookup as part of the application account data.

4. Third-Party Services

This app may integrate or use the following third-party services:

Firebase Crashlytics — Google LLC

Used for crash reporting and application stability analysis. Depending on the service configuration, crash reports may include crash information, device information, and diagnostic data.

Firebase Analytics — Google LLC

Used for application usage analytics, feature measurement, and product improvement. For the iOS application, advertising identifier information is not intentionally collected for personalized advertising or cross-app tracking.

Firebase Performance — Google LLC

Used for monitoring application performance and diagnosing technical issues.

Google Sign-In — Google LLC

Used only when Google Sign-In is enabled in the iOS application and selected by the user for account authentication.

ipinfo.io

Used to obtain approximate country or region information from IP geolocation.

YOKATV does not intentionally retain the raw IP address obtained for this geolocation request as application account data.

5. Data Storage and Retention

Your account information and applicable device or account-binding information may be stored on our servers. We retain account and device-binding information for as long as necessary to provide the requested services, maintain account security, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or comply with legal obligations. IPTV server connection information is retained while necessary to provide the configuration and connection functionality requested by you, unless earlier deleted or no longer required.

Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Performance data are retained according to the applicable retention periods and policies of the respective Firebase services and our service configuration. Country/region information obtained through ipinfo.io may be cached locally for up to 3 days unless a shorter retention period applies.

6. Account Deletion and Data Deletion

You can delete your account through the application by using:

Profile → Delete Account

When you submit an account deletion request, we will delete or anonymize the account information and associated application data that we are not required to retain. Deletion requests will normally be processed within 30 days of receipt. Some limited information may remain temporarily in backups, security logs, fraud-prevention records, or other systems where retention is reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or other legitimate obligations. Such information will be retained only for the period reasonably necessary for those purposes and will then be deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable requirements.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal information;
  • Request correction of inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion of your personal information;
  • Request restriction of certain processing;
  • Object to certain processing where applicable;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

8. Children’s Privacy

This app is not directed at children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. Where applicable law provides a higher minimum age for consent to data processing, the higher age requirement will apply.

9. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may disclose information to:

  • Service providers that help us operate, secure, maintain, analyze, or support the application;
  • Third-party authentication or infrastructure providers used to provide requested application functionality;
  • Authorities or other parties where disclosure is required by applicable law, legal process, or necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud.

We do not sell your personal information collected through the iOS application to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed or stored in countries or regions outside the country where you are located, including jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Where required by applicable law, we will apply appropriate safeguards to international transfers of personal information.

11. Cookies and Website Technologies

This App-specific Privacy Policy does not describe cookies or marketing technologies used solely on the YOKATV website or online store. Those technologies, where applicable, are governed by the privacy notice applicable to the relevant website.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

YOKATV may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When material changes are made, we will update the “Effective Date” and “Last Updated” shown at the beginning of this Privacy Policy. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
