Privacy Policy

WE VALUE YOUR PRIVACY AND WANT TO PROTECT IT.

PLEASE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY TO LEARN ABOUT THE INFORMATION THAT YOKATV COLLECTS FROM YOU AND HOW WE USE THAT INFORMATION.

By using the services you consent to the collection, use, and transfer of your information as described in this privacy policy.

If you do not agree with any part of this privacy policy, we suggest you to avoid using our products and services.

1. Information Collection

We collect the following information to provide and improve our services:

·      Device Identifiers: A device identifier (in MAC/SN format) generated from AndroidId via SHA256 hashing, and the Widevine DRM device ID (hashed before transmission), used for account binding and authorization verification. Neither can be reversed to recover the original values.

·      Advertising ID: Automatically collected by Firebase Analytics for statistical analysis; not used for personalized advertising.

·      Account Information: The server address, username, and password you provide when using IPTV services (these accounts are created by your IPTV service provider, not by this app).

·      Email Address: When you choose to sign in with a Google account, we collect your Gmail address, profile picture URL, and display name for account display purposes (stored locally only), and use the idToken (JWT authentication credential) for backend identity verification. Not collected if you do not use Google sign-in.

·      Device Information: Device model, brand, OS version, and language preference.

·      Approximate Location: Country/region name obtained via the IP geolocation service (ipinfo.io HTTPS API), cached locally for 3 days, used for statistical analysis.

·      Crash and Performance Data: App error logs and performance diagnostics, automatically collected by Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Performance.

2. Information Usage

·      Device Identifiers: Account authentication (device binding and authorization verification)

·      Account Information: Account authentication (connecting to IPTV servers)

·      Email Address: Account authentication (Google sign-in verification)

·      Approximate Location: Statistical analysis

·      Crash/Performance Data: Statistical analysis (stability and performance monitoring)

·      App Usage Data: Statistical analysis (product experience optimization)

3. Data Transmission and Security

·      Data transmission to our own servers will fully adopt HTTPS encryption after official release; SDK API communication currently uses application-layer digital envelope encryption (AES-256-GCM + RSA-2048) with content encrypted at the application layer.

·      The connection protocol for IPTV servers you configure is determined by you.

·      Firebase data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS end-to-end and is subject to Google's data protection policies.

·      Device identifiers are generated locally via SHA256 hashing and are irreversible.

·      IP geolocation queries are performed via the ipinfo.io HTTPS API. Your IP address is not stored, and query results are cached locally for 3 days.

4. Third-Party Services

This app integrates the following third-party SDKs:

·      Firebase Crashlytics (Google): Crash analysis, collects crash logs and device information.

·      Firebase Analytics (Google): Usage analytics, collects device identifiers, advertising ID, and app interaction data.

·      Firebase Performance (Google): Performance monitoring, collects diagnostic data.

·      Google Play Services Auth (Google): Google account sign-in authentication.

·      ipinfo.io: IP geolocation lookup (Store build only, HTTPS encrypted), used to obtain country/region name. IP addresses are not stored.

For details, see Google Firebase Data Processing Terms.

5. Data Storage and Deletion

·      Your account data and device identifiers are stored on our own servers.

·      You can delete your account and associated data directly within the app via "Profile → Delete Account".

·      You may also request to access, modify, or delete your personal data by contacting support@yokatv.com

·      We will process such requests within 30 days of receipt.

6. Your Rights

·      You may choose not to provide or use the account sign-in feature.

·      You may contact the developer to request data access, correction, or deletion (supprt@yokatv.com).

7. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
